The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse is to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned. The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in the assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications: Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin, current CPR registration, previous long-term care experience, or ability to learn

Our Social Worker is responsible to provide services aimed at attaining and maintaining the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident at United Pioneer Home and Lawson Manor.

We will consider qualified candidates currently interested in full-time or part-time work. Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or Wisconsin certification (CSW) is preferred, but not required. For those interested in a part-time position, preference will be given to those able to expand into full-time work within approximately one year. Weekday schedule benefits package.

Our afternoon cook will assist in preparing the lunch and supper meals for our residents. Our cooks are trained to implement menus for regular and special diets and to follow the principles of safe food handling.
