RENT ASSISTED LIVING SENIOR APPARTMENTS

The Pioneer Apartments participates in the Dept of Housing and Urban Development's Section 8, Low Income rent assistance program for the Elderly and Handicapped. The building was built in 1980. The one bedroom apartments average 614 sq feet. All units are at ground level and have windows in the bedroom and living room. There is a community room and a coin operated laundry in the building.


The rent will be 30% of the tenant's adjusted income. The rent includes heat, lights, water, sewer and rubbish. The head of household must be at least 62 years of age and each household must meet the income eligibility guidelines. Contact the Administrator for more information.
